For Blackbird Theatre’s production of Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Copilot developed a bold visual concept inspired by the psychological tension and conflict at the heart of the play. Referencing the graphic language of Saul Bass and mid-century theatre and film posters, stark silhouettes, fragmented typography and a limited red, black and white palette create a sense of confrontation and unease. The design was extended across posters, advertising and promotional materials for the Vancouver production.
